Development Policy

Cadogan Financial works with governments, regulators and market participants to guide and direct development policy.

We worked with the government of Kenya on the development of the financial sector element of ‘Vision 2030’, with a particular focus on pensions and with the World Bank in Indonesia on development of policy to encourage provision of Islamic finance to small to medium enterprises. We have also advised the World Bank on policy in relation to the development of institutional investors for capital markets in emerging economies on policy on mutual funds’ development in emerging economies; and worked with them on development of GEMLOC, a fund to invest in local currency debt of emerging and developing countries, which is now a World Bank advisory programme to help governments develop bond markets.
